Did you know that seniors with underlying health conditions are 55% more likely to need hospitalization if they catch Influenza?

Protect yourself this upcoming season, in the best possible manner. Maximize your protection with the high-dose version of the vaccine that provides significantly more protection.

We have enlisted the support of numerous pharmacies so that you can receive your own personal vaccine at the closest location to you, with a guaranteed price.

If you are 65 or older and register with us, these companies will honour a flat, reduced per-dose fee, that includes all dispensing fees, all professional charges and all taxes.

Influenza — commonly called the flu — has been around for centuries. But it wasn’t until the 1940’s that an effective vaccine was created.

Influenza vaccines are proven to be a safe and effective way to help people stay healthy, prevent illness, and even save lives. However, as people age, they tend to be at higher risk of complications from influenza.

Influenza can lead to many more complications for people who have heart, lung or other health conditions, which can sometimes even be fatal. In fact, your risk of hospitalization increases by 55% if you have an underlying health condition! That’s why seniors are advised to get a vaccine every year.

Unfortunately, standard influenza vaccines are generally about half as effective among older adults compared to younger adults. Which is why we work hard to bring you the high-dose version at an affordable cost.

The high-dose influenza vaccine has proven to be far superior to the standard dose vaccine. Canada’s National Advisory Committee on Immunization (NACI) has stated that: “high-dose TIV should be offered over standard-dose TIV to persons 65 years of age and older.”

Note: Due to limited supply by the pharmacies participating in this program, we have had to stop registration for the discounted high-dose influenza vaccine. If more supply becomes available, we will be able to re-open registration. Thank you for your interest.
